I've Been Published!

Dear all,

I'm pleased to report that a poem of mine (The American Boy, which is believe it or not, in my new book Bodies, Bodies, Bodies, Bodies, Bodies) has been published the second issue of The Museum of Americana! This whiz-bang lit mag celebrates, interrogates, examines and shoots into your face "fiction, poetry, nonfiction, photography, and artwork that revives or repurposes the old, the dying, the forgotten, or the almost entirely unknown aspects of Americana. It is published purely out of fascination with the big, weird, wildly contradictory collage that is our nation’s cultural history" (from the about page).

This is also quite exciting for me, since it's the first online literary journal I've ever been published in.

Patriotically yours,

Gahl

PreOrder for The Book Is Now Online

Dear Poetry and Thrift Enthusiasts,

I've heard many people asking hither and thither to buy a copy of my book even though it hasn't officially been released yet. Well fear not, kind people with material wealth, "Bodies Bodies Bodies Bodies Bodies" is now available for pre-order online, and I'll even throw in a deal! While purchasing the book at the release event itself will cost $12 for students and $15 for adults, anyone who purchases a copy online before the release can get it for the lower and more binary-compatible price of only $10. Interested?

Click Here to pre-order your copy and pick it up at the book release party.

Can't make it to the release party because you live in some other (less peninsular) state? We got you.

Click Here to pre-order your copy and have it shipped to you (NOTE: U.S. orders only).

Signed Sealed Delivered,

Gahl

Upcoming BOOK RELEASE: NZ 2/28

Dear Friends, Fam, and Fans,

It's finally happening! That's right, my book, Bodies, Bodies Bodies, Bodies, Bodies is officially dropping 2 weeks from now, Thursday February 28th at 8pm at the Neutral Zone, Ann Arbor's Teen Center. The reading is absolutely free, there will be free comestibles (food) baked by the lovely and epicly-curean Red Beard Bakery Crew, and there will be books available for sale and signing at the reading. Also, if you happen to be of the poetry writing and/or teenage persuasion, I'll be teaching a free one-hour poetry workshop the hour before the event (7-8pm) upstairs in the Neutral Zone's leadership lounge. If you want more details or to RSVP, you can hit up the Facebook event page here.
Excited to see ya'll there,

Gahl

PS: Happy Valentines Day from the luchador inside me to the luchador inside all of you.
